Dmitry Medevedev outlined the key directions in sphere of national policy

The gathering of the Russian State Council Presidium, devoted to the measures on consolidation of international agreement in Russia, has taken place in the Congress-Hall, Ufa.
Opening the gathering the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev outlined the key directions in this sphere.
First of all, this is the necessity to start making the people tolerant to each other, beginning fr om the schools and universities, wh ere the basics of human world view are formed. In this connection the President of Russia marked the actuality of high-quality civil education.
The next direction is the widening of the cultural exchange between the regions. The President of Russia urged to make this process more intelligent, sending the best folk art collectives of the country to the regions.
The President of Russia considers the manpower policy in the regions also should belong to the prior aims.
“It is no secret that the representatives of some nationalities have no access to power” – Dmitry Medvedev mentioned and ordered the authorities to analyze the situation with manpower policy in the regions.
The head of the state underscored the actuality of the religious confessions in consolidation of international agreement in the country.
“We know well enough how hard the religious activists work for the good of the international agreement” – he said.
Dmitry Medvedev suggested that the workgroups, consisting of the representatives of different religions, should be established in the regions for settlement of various national conflicts and urged regional governors to render maximal assistance to this initiative.
