Abbas Gallyamov: “When people need help, we give them this help”

“When our people need help, we give them this help and any authority has to act so” – the deputy head of the Presidential Administration RB Abbas Gallyamov stated at today’s press-conference in Ufa, devoted to returning of the group of Russian citizens fr om Cairo.

The aircraft of the air company “UTAIR”, sent to Cairo upon the instructions of the President RB Rustem Khamitov, evacuated 132 people, including the students from Bashkiria. Representatives of Tatarstan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Orenburg, Nizhniy Novgorod, Penza, Ulyanovsk, Chelyabinsk regions, the Far East and Moscow and 20 children of pre-school age were also in the list of passengers.

Abbas Gallyamov marked the great assistance of the Russian Ministry of foreign affairs and the Russian Embassy in Egypt and active position of the journalist community, alarmed with the situation in Cairo and not indifferent to the destiny of our compatriots.

In opinion of the deputy head of the Muslim Clerical Dept RB Ruslan Sayakhov there is no need for the Bashkir students to be in a hurry with their return to Egypt now. At present time the students from other Russian regions, arriving in Ufa, are found in the Ufa mosque “IKHLAS”, wh ere they receive hot meals and help in organization of their trips home.

In completion of the conference Ruslan Sayakhov said many thanks to the President RB for his decision to help the students, found in a critical situation.

“The man, who takes care of strange children, deserves that the parents of these children pray to him” – he said – We, the clergy, respect the leadership of our Republic because we know that in difficult situations our youth, our children will be protected”.
