Rustem Khamitov urged to struggle with extremism

The head of Bashkiria Rustem Khamitov urged Republican law-enforcement bodies to struggle with extremism on a national basis.

“The recent tragic events in Moscow have visually demonstrated that the national relations are very delicate sphere from one side and from another side such relations are able to possess very powerful destructive potential” – he stated – “We mustn’t underestimate the threat of extremism, moreover nowadays these gangs use the newest communication means. We have to learn a lesson from the Moscow events and timely suppress any nationalist actions still in the bud”.
