Presidium of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia blamed killers of the chairman of the Clerical Muslim Dept of Kabardino-Balkaria

The Presidium of the Central Clerical Muslim Dept of Russia blamed the killers of the chairman of the Clerical Muslim Dept of Kabardino-Balkaria sheikh Anas-Hadji Pshikhachev. In the appeal, which the Muslims from 23 regions of the country stand behind, the criminals are called the enemies of all Muslims as well as of the whole multinational and multi-religious population of the country.

“The killers have encroached on the most valuable thing our compatriots have – on peace and stability” – said in the appeal – “They again tried to make the split between the representatives of different religions and nationalities, knocking the people, living in peace on one land, together. Only jointly we can stop such murderous deeds in our country. We hotly support the measures, undertaken by the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, for strengthening of law and order in the country and urge the representatives of all traditional religions in Russia and all people of good will to rebuff extremism and terrorism irrespective the masks the criminals hide themselves behind”.

The message concerning the murder of the chairman of the Clerical Muslim Dept of Kabardino-Balkaria has come from Nalchik. The head of all Muslims in the region was shot by some strangers on the doorstep of his home in the evening December 15. Anas-Hadji Pshikhachev was well-known all in Russia as a fighter for spiritual and moral revival of the country and for consolidation of understanding and agreement between different religions.
