Vladimir Putin marked responsibility of regional and municipal authority for solution of everyday problems of Russians

In the program “Talking to Vladimir Putin: continuation” The Prime-Minister has marked high responsibility of regional and municipal authority for solution of the everyday problems of Russian citizens. He has underscored the problems Russian people face every day have to be solved exactly at the regional and municipal levels and urged Russians to be more responsible at regional elections.

“When we come to the ballot-boxes we have to think first whom we are going to elect” – Vladimir Putin said – “And first of all this is the matter of the municipal level, where the problems, concerned with housing and communal services, health care and education are concentrated. We have to think whom we show our preference for – a glib-talker, promising heavenly bliss or a really competent leader”.

At the same time Vladimir Putin has confirmed again there will be no return to elections of the regional governors and called the present order of appointment the most optimal for Russia and maximally protected from criminal influence.
