Energy-efficient homes will appear in nine Russian regions

Energy-efficient homes, similar to that, which is put into exploitation in Ufa on December 10, will appear in other Russian regions in the nearest future, the General Director of the Fund for assistance to housing and communal services reforming Constantine Tsitsin reported to the journalists after the meeting with the President RB Rustem Khamitov.

“Not long ago we launched the experiment on construction of such houses” -he said – “At present time they are erected only in three cities. Thus, the similar house has been put into exploitation in Barnaul last week. Belgorod, Stavropol, Kaluga and Yakutia stand in the queue. In 2001 such houses have to appear in many regions”.

In opinion of Constantine Tsitsin such technologies are still poorly inculcated in our everyday life and especially in housing and communal sphere.

“Such know-how as these energy-efficient houses are our reserve for the future” - he said – “It is still too early for their wide-scaled construction but the start is initiated and it is important that these 33 families, receiving the flats in this house, will pay for the housing and communal services much less than other citizens of Ufa”.

It should be reminded that the three-storied, three-doorway energy-efficient home, put into exploitation in Ufa, has 33 flats and 103 people, resettled to the new home from six old wrecked houses, will live here. The materials and technologies, able to reduce the heat losses to a minimum were used in construction of the house.
