Rustem Khamitov: “It’s high time for all of us to stop resting on laurels”

The widened meeting of “United Russia” Bashkir division’s Political Council is held now in Ufa, the House of State Council-Kurultay-RB, where the aims of the regional and local party’s divisions on realization of the Message of the President of Russia are under discussion. The President of Bashkortostan, a member of “United Russia” Supreme Council Rustem Khamitov is also taking part in it.

“We all know quite well that the executive power openly interacts with all political forces, able to become useful for the Republic” – Rustem Khamitov mentioned – “And it looks quite logical that “United Russia” – the party of power – possesses the best potential in this sense but is this potential used all the time? I can’t definitely say “yes” to it for today”.

“Can we remember enough cases, when people appealed with some serious problems to “United Russia” either through mass-media or in our public waiting-rooms and these problems were really solved?” – the President RB asked – “Such cases are very rare and it happens so though the citizens started talking about the problems, adversely affecting their everyday life and about the drawbacks, which have to be extirpated, freely. But for some reason they appeal not to the strongest political party, having 85% of votes in the parliament”.

Rustem Khamitov has underscored that this is the evidence that “United Russia” in Bashkiria weakened its communication with the voters to certain extent. In this connection the President of Bashkortostan outlined the vectors of the party’s political influence.

“It’s high time for all of us to stop resting on laurels because we now are facing more unsolved problems than successes” – Rustem Khamitov mentioned.
