The visit of Tatarstan State Council’s delegation to Bashkiria begins

The State Council-Kurultay-RB receives the delegation of Tatarstan’s State Council today, December 3. The delegation arrived in Ufa for further development of the agreement about inter-parliamentary cooperation, signed on March 22, 1997.

For the last time such meeting has taken place in December 2003. Parliamentarians of Tatarstan have paid a visit to Ufa, where the protocol about further development of joint cooperation was signed.

The first part of the visit’s program includes the meetings in the profiled committees of the Republican parliament, where the deputies – the chairmen of the profiled committees of Bashkir and Tatar parliaments intend to discuss further cooperation, joint elaboration of the bills and efficient realization of the laws in the interests of the electorate.

The second part of the program includes the ceremony of signing the cooperation agreement between the law-makers of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan. The agreement will be signed by Constantine Tolkatchev and Farid Mukhametshin. After the ceremony the guests will become acquainted with work experience of the Bashkir parliament and will visit the Bashkir parliament’s museum of history. The visits to the Museum of archeology and ethnography and to the Ufa State Tatar Theater “NUR” are scheduled too, the press-service of the State Council -Kurultay-RB reported.
