Representative office RB under the President of Russia in Moscow has become the site for signing the Russian-Swiss protocol

The XII session of the mixed intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation between Russian Federation and Swiss Federation has taken place today in the representative office RB under the President of Russian Federation in Moscow. The international gathering was held under the chairmanship of the Minister of sport and youth policy Vitally Mutko from the Russian side and the chief of the international cooperation dept under the Federal Economics Department of Switzerland Mrs. Ruhl Burzi from the Swiss side. Representatives of the Russian Government, federal ministries, the Ministry of foreign affairs RF, public organization “The Support of Russia”, the Central Bank of Russia and the representatives of the Swiss Federal Economics Dept, the Swiss Business Union “Economic Swiss”, the organization for assistance to external economic activity of Swiss small and minor business and the Swiss Embassy in Russia have taken part in the gathering.

The parties were discussing the course of realization of the joint projects, indicated during the last meeting at the highest level between the Presidents of Russia and Switzerland on August 26, 2010. The plan of actions for 2011-2013 has been signed that time. The parties declared for widening of the trade-economic cooperation between Russia and Switzerland and indicated the prospects of cooperation in sphere of machine building, chemical and pharmaceutical industry, transport, tourism, nanotechnologies, development of the network of business-incubators and techno-parks and in the financial sector. The signed protocol presumes scientific-technical, industrial and innovational cooperation, joint activity in financial and bank spheres, in custom sphere, in sphere of intellectual property protection, veterinary supervision, tourism, air communication, small and medium business and cooperation between concrete regions of both countries.
