The President of Russia congratulated the President of Bashkortostan with the Day of National Unity

The President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev congratulated the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov with the Day of National Unity:

Let me congratulate you with the Day of National Unity.

The deep respect for the civil feat of the nation and for the heroic history of our Fatherland lay in the base of this state holiday. Four centuries ago our forefathers had defended the independence of our Motherland and strengthened the Russian state structure. Basing on the traditions of patriotism and solidarity we solve the aims on all-sided modernization of the country today and the future of Russia and prosperity of its citizens depend upon our initiative, energy and responsibility.
