Rustem Khamitov: the problems of land tenure have to be solved

The question about land tenure is considered strategic and fundamental at all times and the future of the villages depends on its solution. It is quite clear the agriculture fails to develop efficiently, if the problems of land use aren’t solved fairly.

“It is high time to begin solving this problem, though it looks rather hard and the main thing for us here is to determine, can the land be found in private property, or only in public one” – the President RB Rustem Khamitiov said at today’s press-conference, dedicated to the first 100 days of his presidency.

According to M-r Khamitov there are the investors in the Republic, ready t invest millions to development of our agriculture but they worry about the destiny of their investments, since the problems of land tenure aren’t yet solved up to the end. Same happens with the land lots of the farmers: they have already received the land but have no idea what they have to do next with these land areas. “We see the people take a serious risk of their money and we have to remove such situation” – the President of Bashkiria mentioned.

“The problems of land tenure have to be brought up for wide discussion” – the head of the Republic said.
