The III congress of municipal formations RB is held in Ufa

The III congress of the municipal formations of Bashkortostan is held in Ufa today and more than 700 delegates of the Republican municipalities are taking part in its work. Members of the Federation Council, deputies of the State Duma RF and the State Council-Kurultay-RB, representatives of public community and authority are invited.

The conferences, devoted to the actual problems in development of local self-government, are held within the frames of the congress in the first half of the day: “Small and medium business undertakings as the base of local self-government development”, “Problems of land and property relations at the municipal level”, “The strategy of territorial development – the role of investments and innovations in development of municipal formations”, “Local budget: formation, execution and filling” and others.

The plenary session of the forum will take place in the second half of the day in the Culture Palace “NEFTYANIK”.

The III congress of municipal formations will sum up the totals of local self-government development in the Republic. It will also evaluate the activity of the association “The Council of municipal formations in Republic of Bashkortostan”, determine the prior directions in development of local municipalities’ activity and the strategy of further territorial development.
