The III congress of municipal formations RB to be held in Ufa on September 30

The III congress of the municipal formations of Bashkortostan will take place in Ufa on Thursday, September 30 and more than 700 representatives of the Republican municipalities will take part in its work. The members of the Federation Council, deputies of State Duma and State Council-Kurultay-RB, representatives of the authority, public communities and mass-media are invited to the forum.

The conferences, devoted to the actual problems of local self-government will be held within the frames of the congress in the first half of the day: “Small and medium business undertakings as the base for development of local self-government”, “The problems of land and property relations at the municipal level – the rational use of municipal land and property resources”, “The strategy of development of the territories – the role of investment and innovations in development of municipal formations”, “Local budget – formation, execution and filling” and others.

The plenary session of the forum will take place in the Culture Palace “NEFTYANIK” in the second half of the day.

The III congress of municipal formations will sum up the results of local self-government development in the Republic, estimate the activity of the Association “The council of municipal formations RB” and determine the prior directions in activity of the local self-government bodies and the strategy of further territorial development.

The association “The council of municipal formations RB” was established in May 2006 and all 895 municipal formations of Bashkiria are found in the list of its members. The main aims of the association are: protection of the interests of municipal formations and assistance, the provision of interaction between municipalities and the authority.
