The President RB ordered to work up the strategy for Republic’s positioning

Bashkortostan has high investment potential but the region faces certain difficulties with its positioning in the global economic community. The President of Bashkortostan made such conclusion on September 20 during the governmental meeting, summing up the totals of Bashkiria’s participation in the international investment forum “Sochi-2010”.

The chairman of the Government RF Vladimir Putin visited the exposition of Bashkortostan, pointed to the positive experience in production of modern buses in the town of Neftekamsk and recommended the Republic to develop this direction further.

In the course of the forum the agreements concerning cooperation between the Government RB and the agency for development of low-height and cottage construction and concerning trade-economic, scientific-technical, social and cultural cooperation between Bashkortostan and Krasnoyarsk region were signed.

The President of Bashkortostan has held several negotiations and meetings with the representatives of Russian and foreign industrial companies and banks, including the Czech export bank, the interregional fuel-energy bank “MEJTOPENERGOBANK” and others.

“We possess enough to demonstrate, we are one of the most powerful regions in the country but we have to position ourselves more resolutely. I know there is high interest in our region, which will just grow up in the future” – Rustem Khamitov summed up.

The President RB gave the instructions to the members of the Republican Government to work up the strategy of Bashkortostan’s positioning in the global economic space, the public affairs service of the President RB reports.
