Bashkortostan has successfully performed at the international investment forum in Sochi

The delegation of Bashkortostan, headed by the President RB Rustem Khamitov, has completed its participation at the IX international investment forum in Sochi on September 18. After the end of the forum the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov mentioned the participation of Bashkortostan was quite successful.

“The Republic demonstrated its newest innovational designs and investment projects. Many participants of the forum displayed their interest in our exposition, including the Chairman of the Government RF Vladimir Putin. During the inspection he became interested in the machine-building models, demonstrated in the block “Bashkortostan – to Olympic Sochi” and said our machinery and equipment might be used in the course of preparations and holding of the Olympic Games-2014 in Sochi. Bashkortostan has to take part in such international forums in order to show our achievements in different spheres of economics. We possess powerful industrial and scientific-technical potential, which is to be developed” – Rustem Khamitov mentioned.

Besides, in opinion of the President RB the Republic has all advantages for holding its own international thematic forum.

“We have to think it over in what sphere and to what theme we can organize an international forum here. Such forums are held in different Russian regions but this niche isn’t yet filled up. We should come out with such proposal. Ufa is quite able to pretend to hold a prestigious forum” – the President of Bashkortostan stated.
