Rustem Khamitov has taken part in the meeting of the Russian State Council

On August 31 the President of Republic of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has taken part in the joint meeting of the State Council RF and the Commission for modernization and technological development of Russian economics under the President of Russia in Moscow. The problems of development of professional education in the country were considered at the meeting, held under the chairmanship of the President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev.

The President of Russia called the necessity to modernize the system of education one of the key problems, demanding urgent solution. In opinion of Dmitry Medvedev the education system has to train the specialists, really demanded in the labor market. “The business community should form the order for the future specialists” – he mentioned.

“We have to know precisely how many specialists, of what level and of what qualification the country needs and the state has to answer this question together with the business community” – Dmitry Medvedev said.

Within the frames of the trip to Moscow Rustem Khamitov has held a meeting with the General Director of the state corporation “The Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies” Anatoly Chubais. The President RB informed the head of the corporation that Bashkiria intended to open the center of nanotechnologies. “Bashkortostan has all prerequisites for wide launching of the special programs for establishment of the nano-industrial cluster in the Republic” – Rustem Khamitov said. The President RB informed the head of “ROSNANO” that at present time the projects for establishment of the center of nanotechnologies and the scientific-research center for designing and introduction of the spacious nano-structural metal materials were under realization in Bashkortostan. Rustem Khamitov has underscored the Republic will render all possible assistance to realization of these projects, including co-financing and allocation of necessary facilities for administrative and laboratory needs.

The joint activity of JSC “Ufa Engine Plant” (UMPO) and “ROSNANO” on realization of the project “The technological advance” was also under consideration. In opinion of the parties the actuality of the project is proved by its interrelationship with the federal programs on development of civil aviation engineering and designing of the perspective aviation complex for the Russian military aviation.
