Happy Day of Air Forces!

This day is marked in the calendars as the professional holiday of the Russian Air Forces and on this occasion the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov congratulated all workers and veterans of the Republican air fleet with this holiday:

“The Air Forces were always the pride of the state. And today it plays a weighty role in social and economic development of the country, security of our frontiers, developing of hard-to-access territories, strengthening of the external economic relations and business cooperation.

Special attention is paid to development of the air transport complex in our Republic too. In accordance with the earlier approved goal-oriented program “The development of the air transport on the territory of Republic of Bashkortostan in 2009-2020”the national basic air company was established. New aircrafts were purchased at the expense of the Republican budget. Now these aircrafts fly on the interregional and internal routes. The international air lines are actively developed too.

The renovation of the production capacities of the civil aviation enterprises is going on at high rates. The international airport “Ufa” is considered one of the biggest and the most socially significant airports of the country today. The airport in the town of Sibay already resumed its activity. The airport in the town of Neftekamsk is restored now.

Aviation is considered one of the most complicated, fine and romantic branches of human activity. The workers of civil aviation RB along with the successful performance of the tasks on security of the flights and technical accuracy of the aircrafts, imposed on them, render high assistance to the oil workers, geologists and agrarians. Their role in extinguishing of forest fires, wrecking and emergency medical care can hardly be overestimated.

I am certain that your highest responsibility, deep knowledge and professionalism, the ability to find optimal solutions in the most difficult situations will further contribute to well-deserved performance of the uneasy tasks, set before you.

I wish all workers and veterans of the civil aviation, members of the aircrafts’ crews, workers of the land-based services and their families strong health, well-being, happiness and every success in dynamical development of the air transport complex RB!
