Rustem Khamitov ordered to supply schools with high-speed internet

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov signed the decree on August 12, 2010, in accordance with which the Republican educational institutions will be provided with the broadband access to internet.

The decree is signed with the purpose to make the conditions for organization of the educational process on the base of the informational-communicational technologies.

In accordance with the document JSC “BASHINFORMSVYAZ” and JSC “UFANET”, servicing the schools within the frames of the top priority national project “Education” are recommended to raise the access speed up to at least 1megabit/sec without the increase of the cost of their services.
