Happy Bee-Keeper Day of Bashkortostan!

This day is marked in the calendars as the professional holiday of Bashkir bee-keepers and on this occasion the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov sent his congratulations to their address:

“The bee-keeping in our land has deep historical roots, the millennium’s experience and rich traditions. The Bashkir honey is by right considered a visit card of our Republic and the Bashkir bee- its pride. By the number of bee-families and production of the commodity honey Bashkortostan holds the first place in the country.

Our honey and honey products face great demand in the world. It is delivered for many Russian regions and exported both to CIS and non-CIS countries. Every year Bashkir bee-keepers collect numerous international and Russian awards for designing and production of foods, medicines and cosmetics on the base of honey products.

Republic of Bashkortostan renders high assistance to development of bee-keeping, successfully realizing the goal-oriented programs on development of this promising branch. We have actively working scientific and research center for bee-keeping and apitherapy, numerous enterprises for production of the bee-keeping inventory and several education institutions for training of the specialists in the sphere of bee-keeping.

I am certain this branch will increase the volumes of production in the future, raising its efficiency thanks to introduction of the newest scientific achievements and progressive technologies and will make weighty contribution to solution of the social problems of our villagers.

I wish all of you strong health, well-being, happiness and every success for the good of our Bashkortostan!
