Rustem Khamitov ordered to render assistance to owners of private auxiliary farmings

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has held the meeting with the members of the Government RB in the Republic House today. The current social-economic situation was under discussion and the matter was the state of things in the agricultural complex in connection with the drought, the current situation in the bank sector and in the construction sphere.

Rustem Khamitov mentioned that because of the drought the owners of small auxiliary farmings incurred losses together with the big farms. In opinion of the President RB this sector needs serious state support now.

“Every year our small farmings cultivate and sell large volumes of agricultural production and cattle and in 2010 this sector faces serious difficulties because of the drought – the failure of vegetables and the absence of fodders for cattle, so we have to support them in order to preserve their farms and this sector in a whole” – the President of Bashkortostan said. He ordered the Ministry of finances RB and the Ministry of agriculture RB to study this problem and to find the ways for its solution during one week. Rustem Khamitov also focused the attention at the problem of shortage of kindergartens in the big cities of Bashkortostan and offered to work up the project of the Republican program “Kindergarten”.
