The meeting with the deputy chairman of the Central Bank of Russia

The President of Bashkortostan Murtaza Rakhimov has held a work meeting with the deputy chairman of the Central Bank RF Viktor Berestov in the Republic House today. The questions, concerned with the activity of the financial institutions and the role of the bank sector in strengthening of local economics and social sphere were under discussion. The matter also was the proposals on further cooperation between Bashkortostan and the Central Bank RF.

Murtaza Rakhimov stated that successful development of local enterprises and the increase of the population's way of life in many respects depended upon an efficient activity of the banks. Viktor Berestov mentioned that the credit institutions RB were working stably providing their clients with a wide range of the bank services and products.

The deputy chairman of the Central Bank RF also reported to the President of Bashkortostan about the measures on optimization of the bank system's structure. According to M-r Berestov this process will also involve the National Bank RB, where certain organizational and technical arrangements are to be made.

The chairman of the National Bank RB Rustem Mardanov also took part in the meeting.
