The President of Bashkortostan took out the process against NTV broadcasting company

The President of Bashkortostan Republic Murtaza Rakhimov filed a suit to defend his hounour and dignity against NTV broadcasting company.

It is said in the suit in particular that on June 19, 2010 on NTV television channel in the «Maximum» program a plot about the situation in Bashkortostan Republic was shown in which in an assertative form unfaithful facts discrediting honour and dignity of the President of Bashkortostan Republic Murtaza Rakhimov were shown.

In his suit Murtaza Rakhimov asks the court to recognise as unfaithful and discrediting honour and dignity of the President of Bashkortostan the information disclosed in the telecast on the NTV channel and to deny the specified information on the air of the same television channel.

In 2007 and 2008 the President of Bashkortostan Republic Murtaza Rakhimov already won a suit to defend honour and dignity against the "Maximum" program and its anchorman Gleb Pjanyh. Kalininsky and Kirov regional courts of Ufa laid the defendant under obligation to deny the information discrediting Murtaza Rakhimov.

Now the Administration of the President of Bashkortostan Republic studies other materials of electronic and printing mass-media with negative information about the President of Bashkortostan Republic Murtaza Rakhimov concerning filing suits to the court.
