New sport and recreation centre has opened in Fedorovka village

One more sports construction appeared in Bashkortostan. In the Fedorovsky regional centre, construction of sport and recreation complex has come to the end. Murtaza Rakhimov, the President of our republic took part in the solemn ceremony of its opening. In his trip over southern region he was accompanied by Konstantin Tolkachev, the Chairman of the State Assembly — Kurultay RB, the secretary of Regional political council of «United Russia» and Ravil Ibatullin, the minister of construction, architecture and transport RB.

It is done a lot in Bashkortostan for physical culture and sports development, — the speaker of the Bashkir parliament Konstantin Tolkachev said at the solemn ceremony. — During 2003-2009, fifty-three sport and recreation centres were constructed and put into operation in the republic. Fr om 2006 till 2009 it was allocated from the republican budget more than 5 and a half billion roubles for construction and reconstruction of athletic facilities. Sporting equipment for the sum of 14 million roubles was delivered to the Fedorovsky sport and recreation centre from the funds of the federal budget in 2009 within the lim its of the social project of «United Russia». All this is demonstrative example of careful attitude to people according to Konstantin Tolkachev.

Over 10 thousand sports objects function in Bashkortostan, among them five sports palaces, 42 stadiums, 3347 gyms. Only for the last seven years in the republic it was constructed 53 sports and recreation centres, meant for mass athletic events. As Alexander Nikerin, the minister of youth policy, sports and tourism RB marked, it allows to cover more than third of inhabitants of the republic with sports activities. Bashkortostan is among leaders in the Volga Federal District and in Russia on this indicator.

Now people from the Fedorovsky region can also bring up their future champions. The new sports construction was built at the expense of means of the republican budget for less than two years. In total it was invested more than 30 million roubles in this construction.
