Representatives of Bashkortostan took part in the II International Summit of Islamic Business and Finance

Representatives of Bashkortostan took part in the II International Summit of Islamic Business and Finance. This event was visited by delegations of the Committee on "Halal" standards at the Spiritual Governance for Muslims RB and the Russia's Central Spiritual Governance for Muslims.

In total about 500 participants took part in the Summit this time. They were mainly politicians, businessmen and representatives of profile departments from different regions of Russia, the CIS countries, Europe, the Near East and Central Asia.

Among guests of honour of the forum there was Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan Republic, Mahathir Mohamad, the former prime minister of Malaysia and the chairman of the World Alliance on partnership in the field of international development, Nazir Ahmed and Mohamed Iltaf, members of the British Chamber of Lords, Haled Mohammed Al-Abudi, the general director of Islamic Corporation for Private Sector Development.

The I International Exhibition-Fair «KAZANHALAL 2010», a strategic forum and a round table on the innovative policy were held within the framework of the Summit. Besides, an Investment Forum and Islamic Economy and Finance conference to be held there. The forum finishes its work on Tuesday.
