Happy Day of Youth!

The Day of Youth is celebrated in Russia today. On this occasion, the President of Republic of Bashkortostan Murtaza Rakhimov sent his congratulations to his young fellow citizens. He said in particular:

"Dear friends! Let me heartily congratulate you on this remarkable holiday - the Day of Youth! It is the symbol of youth, beauty, energy and hope, because it is you whom the future of our Motherland, its prosperity and well-being depend on!

Young people make more than a quarter of the population of Bashkortostan. Today they enter upon adult life that requires all-round knowledge, persistence and capacity for work. It is gratifying to know that owing to the zeal, innovatory ideas of young people, the Republic develops rapidly, becomes more beautiful and modern. The best representatives of the younger generation score big successes in all-Russian and international scientific, creative contests, Olympiads, projects, exhibitions and competitions.

We have created all possible conditions for the all-round, intellectual and moral development of youth. The "Youth is the Strategic Resource of Bashkortostan Republic" concept is adopted and currently realized. The opportunities of getting education of high quality are expanded. Children's and youth public organizations, teenagers' clubs and centres work actively. Much attention is given to the support of young families. The organization of the First Kurultay of Bashkir Youth has become an important event of this year, which will undoubtedly go down in history of the Republic.

Dear young men and women! Let your future be happy and creative, rich in kind plans and interesting activities. I wish you strong health and wellbeing, creative development, inexhaustible energy and optimism.
