Mothers having many children were awarded with medals

It was the 86th ceremony and 60 awarded mothers having many children. On Wednesday, on June 23, domestic goddesses and keepers of family values, the women who gave birth and brought up five and more children were honoured in the House of Republic. Arrived to Ufa fr om different cities and regions of the republic they were united by one thing – all of them were awarded with the medal «Parent Glory». Traditionally Murtaza Rakhimov, the President of Bashkortostan congratulated women. Addressing to mothers, the head of the region marked that the republic became the first subject of the Russian Federation wh ere the tradition of rewarding mothers having many children was revived. The first ceremony took place in 1998.

Thus, we wished to raise the authority of our mothers, — the President said. – For 12 years medals have been handed over to more than five thousand women. The birth rate grows and it is pleasant. More than 82 thousand mothers have received the federal subsidies for multiple-child families in the republic.

The social policy of Bashkortostan gives priority to a family — a basis of existence of our society. And the republican authorities consider as one of the main task to create favorable conditions for a family, giving birth and education of children, health protection of mothers and children. The measures directed on support of families are fixed at the legislative level. This support is expressed not only in payments of federal and republican subsidies and benefits, but also in scale building of welfare projects. The main of them are schools and hospitals, sanatoria, palaces of culture and social centres which are erected not only in cities, but also in villages, settlements.

All women awarded this day are unique and inimitable. Some of them already have grandsons; younger children of others are only one year old. In their families, there is love, understanding, consent, respect and the word "together". And this is their happiness.
