The President RB Murtaza Rakhimov congratulated Republican mass-media employees with their professional holiday, celebrated today:

Let me congratulate you with the professional holiday – the Day of the press and information RB!

The means of mass-media are considered one of the most important elements of a public society today and the basis of the state’s informational policy. It is good that the professional level of our press has substantially risen for the last years. The employees of the printed and electronic mass-media actively cover public, political, economic and cultural events, making weighty contribution to formation of the positive image of Bashkortostan as well as of the whole of Russia. Thanks to your everyday work our citizens are always in the know of the current events.

The Republican and municipal periodicals receive goal-oriented state backing and we have well-developed market of mass-media means. Special attention is paid to further development of the national editions as well as to the online mass-media. Thus, all state editions RB have their own sites.

I am sure you will further keep fidelity to your professional duty, high traditions of Russian journalism, working with the same activity and creation.
