The III World Bashkir kurultay is opened in Ufa

The III World Bashkir Kurultay is opened in Ufa, the Culture Palace “NEFTYANIK”, today. Along with its delegates the VIPs and the invitees – the members of the Russian Federation Council, State Duma deputies and representatives of the Nations Assembly RF are taking part in its work. The plenary session is held under the chairmanship of the Prime-Minister of the Government RB Rail Sarbaev.

The national poet RB, a deputy of the State Council RB Ravil Bikbaev opened the gathering.

Rail Sarbaev offered to pay homage to the memory of the outstanding representatives of the Bashkir nation, activists of culture and science, writers, poets, scientists, public and political activists, died within the period between the first and the second world Bashkir congresses with the silence minute. After that the Kurultay’s bodies were elected.

Further the permission to speak was given to the President of Bashkortostan Murtaza Rakhimov.
