Murtaza Rakhimov: “Bashkortostan will develop in one way with Russia”

After the end of today’s plenary session of the III World Bashkir Kurultay the President RB Murtaza Rakhimov has answered the questions of journalists.

The leader of the Republic has underscored in his short interview that “Bashkortostan will develop in one way with Russia and not separately. We have the elder brother, whom we are already 450 years together with”.

He has also said he is the adherent of the governor’s elections.

“Just look what they have done with the Federation Council and in what state it is found now. I don’t understand what does this body mean today” – he said – “And if we take the deputies of the State Duma? It’s unclear how one can be the deputy, receiving huge salaries and at the same time missing the sessions. It can't be met anywhere in the world, so the federal authorities have to be criticized too" - the President RB concluded.
