The first kurultay of Bashkir youth to be held in Ufa

The first kurultay (congress) of Bashkir youth will take place within the frames of the III World Bashkir kurultay on June 10-11 in Ufa. It is organized by the Ministry of youth policy, sport and tourism RB and by the youth council of the World Bashkir Congress executive committee. More than 700 delegates fr om all regions and towns RB, Russian regions and foreign countries will arrive in Ufa, the organizers report. The program of the youth congress is very wide. Thus, the excursion round Ufa, the flower ceremony near the Salavat Ulaev monument and the show “The Letter to Bashkir Nation” with the participation of the Bashkir pop stars will take place on June 10. The plenary gathering of the first kurultay of Bashkir youth, wh ere the problems of national education, demography and other problems are to be discussed, will be held the next day, June 11. A new staff of the youth council – more than 40 people – will be elected there. The delegates will also approve the resolution and the address to the Bashkir youth. The organizers hope the gathering will help the Bashkir young people to consolidate and join the solution of the actual problems in development of modern Russia.
