Azamat Galin: We have to do everything to preserve that stability our Republic is different with

The today’s news-conference of the chairman of the World Bashkir Kurultay executive committee, the deputy chairman of the Republican steering committee on preparation for this forum Azamat Galin, held in the news agency “Bashinform”, was devoted to the forthcoming World Bashkir Congress.

“The tradition of holding the Bashkir gatherings – congresses, where the most urgent problems of the nation are found under discussion, has the millennium history” – Azamat Galin said – “And today it hasn’t lost its actuality as one of the forms of people’s opinion expresion”.

A wide circle of questions will be discussed at the III World Bashkir Congress. Moreover, according to the decision of the Kurultay’s executive committee its delegates collected the mandates of the Bashkir population, indicating the most actual problems, demanding immediate solution. Thus the agenda of the international forum has been determined.

The III World Bashkir Kurultay will be held in Ufa on June 10-11. The plenary session will take place on the first day of the forum (at the Culture Palace “NEFTYANIK”). The meeting-concert, devoted to the III World Bashkir Kurultay, will take place the same day in the evening on the Salavat Ulaev’s Square. The youth kurultay (congress) and the section meetings will be held on June 11 in the first half of the day. The final plenary session, where the resulting documents are to be approved, will take place after lunch also at the Culture Palace “NEFTYANIK”. On June 12 the delegates and guests of the Kurultay will participate in the solemn ceremony of opening the memorial center “YRYUZAR TASHY” on the peak of Toratau and in the Republican folklore festival in Ishimbaysky region RB.

In accordance with the quotes, approved by the steering committee – 1 delegate from 2000 Bashkirs from regions and towns of Bashkortostan and 1 delegate from 3000 Bashkirs from Russian regions – 851 delegates are elected to the forum. The Congress of the European Union’s Bashkirs, held in Berlin on May 15, has determined the staff of the delegation, representing the Bashkir diaspora from 13 countries. At that youth makes up one third of the delegates, as it was determined in the Regulations about the elections.

The first youth kurultay will become an innovation of the forthcoming forum. Azamat Galin has specially emphasized that the World Bashkir Congress is going to discuss the problems, worrying not only the Bashkir nation but all nations of the region and reminded the World Bashkir Kurultay works in close interaction with all national public communities RB.

“We have to do everything to preserve that stability our Republic is different with” – he said – “We needn’t be tolerant but have to be friends”.
