The President RB Murtaza Rakhimov visited the company “Bashkir Copper”

The work trip of the President RB over the trans-Ural zone is going on. In Khaibullinsky region Murtaza Rakhimov has visited the enterprise “Bashkir Copper”, accompanied by the Prime-Minister of Government RB Rail Sarbaev, the President of "UGMK-Holding" Iskander Machmudov and the General Director of the same company Andre Kozitsyn. Together they’ve watched the site of the future concentrating mill, visited the open pit “Ubileiny” and laid the first stone on the foundation of the future underground mine under the same name – “Ubileiny”.

The copper-zinc deposit “Ubileiny” was discovered in 1966. At present time it is considered one of the largest in Russia. The ore reserves make up about 110 million tons, more than 1,6 million tons of copper, more than 1 million tons of zinc, 161 ton of gold and 1310 tons of silver.
