Sheltered ice ring in Utchaly

Construction of the sheltered ice ring “Miner”, meant for 1500 seats, runs in the town of Utchaly. The ring will be erected between the local mosque and the hotel “Jasper” near the foot of a picturesque hill. The President RB Murtaza Rakhimov has visited the site of the future ice ring today. The head of the Republic laid the symbolic stone on the foundation of the future sport object and gave a command to the beginning of the assembling works.

“This is a remarkable event for all local citizens – we are erecting the vast sport object” – Murtaza Rakhimov said at the solemn ceremony – “the ice ring will become the main site for rest and competitions”.

The object is erected by the Ufa holding company “BASHURALENERGOSTROY”. The contractual cost of the sheltered ice ring makes up 248 million rubles and its construction will be finished in December 2010.
