“The Center of Georgian national culture by Shota Rustaveli”is revived in Bashkortostan

The public organization “The Center of Georgian national culture by Shota Rustaveli” is passing the registration at the department of the Russian Ministry of Justice in Bashkortostan now.
The Center was established in Republic of Bashkortostan in 2000. Because of various reasons the center terminated its activity later. David Gureshidze, a graduate of the Ufa State Aviation Technical University, working at the Ufa international airport, has come out as the initiator of the Center’s revival. The restoration of the center for the Georgian diaspora RB, which according to the population census-2002 makes up about 1300 people, is the question of paramount importance.
“It is abnormally when somebody tries to estrange the nations, living together for so many centuries” – David Gureshidze said to the news agency “Bashinform” – “I lived in Georgia only before I was ten years old but it doesn’t mean I don’t care what is happening in my Motherland now. I do want to restore that confidence and friendship, which traditionally tied our two nations”.
