Participants of the solemn arrangements in honor of the 65th anniversary of the Great Victory are gathering in Ufa

The veterans of the Great Patriotic War – the representatives of all regions and towns RB, who have to become the official participants of the solemn actions, devoted to the 65th anniversary of the Great Victory on May 8-9, are arriving in Ufa today.

About 300 people will be settled in the sanatorium “Green Valley” and they will stay there during three days.

On May 8 the veterans will take part in the ceremony of laying the flowers to the Eternal Fire and to the monuments to the Heroes of the Soviet Union Alexander Matrosov and Minnigali Gubaidullin, the twice Hero of the Soviet Union Musa Gareev and in the ceremony of opening of the monuments to the Generals Tagir Kusimov and Minigali Shaimuratov. After that they’ll go to the Congress-Hall to join the solemn concert and the reception by the President RB Murtaza Rakhimov.

On the Victory Day – May 9 – the veterans will come to the Lenin Square to become the eye-witnesses of the review and the theatrical performance, devoted to the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. After the festive lunch in the sanatorium “Green Valley” the participants will become leave for their places of residence.
