“Bashneft” organized festival for veterans of war and students of the Ufa Cadet Corps

Solemn holiday, called: “Cadets: the connection between generations”, has taken place on May 5 at the Ufa Cadet Corps. The festival was initiated by the JSC “BASHNEFT”.

30 participants of the Great Patriotic War, working at the Republican fuel-energy complex enterprises, were invited to the festival. After the festive parade of the cadets the veterans were invited to visit the Cadets Corps Hall of Fame and the conference-hall to be delighted with the sheer and the show, prepared by the cadets.

JSC “BASHNEFT” holds such action jointly with the Ufa Cadet Corps for the first time but according to the Vice-President of the company Cyril Andreichenko this holiday should begin this good tradition.

The 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic war won’t be over for the veterans with the festive salute on May 9.

“We intend to hold various actions, aimed at the support of our veterans during the whole year” – Cyril Andreichenko said – “Our company is socially oriented and in 2010 we are going to invest 1, 238 billion rubles to the social sphere of Bashkortostan. These means will be spent for construction of hospitals, schools and other social objects. Same sum was allocated in 2009 and that allowed opening 15 new social objects in the Republic”.

“All 7000 our veterans and toilers of the home front will receive our congratulations and memorable gifts by the Victory Day” – Cyril Andreichenko continued – “And the participants of the Great Patriotic War -about 800 people – will be rewarded with the sign “The 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War”. Besides, 500 veterans, who worked at the Bashkir fuel-energy complex enterprises after the war, will gather for the solemn concert on May 7”.
