The First children’s kurultay has taken place in Ufa

“The future begins with us!” – the first children’s Ufa kurultay (congress), dated to the World Bashkir Kurultay, which is to be held in Ufa this summer, has taken place at the Ufa Bashkir Gymnasium N20 by Fatima Mustafina under this slogan.

The children’s kurultay was held in Bashkir language in the form of a plenary session. The elected delegates have taken part in its work – 156 people in a whole, including 134 representatives of the city schools, gymnasiums and lyceums and 22 representatives of the Republican general education institutions. The kurultay was headed by children: Fatima Yanbaeva, Yamil Namazbaev, Leisan Gasimova, Gazinur Shagigalin and Guzelle Khakova.

The deputy head of Ufa administration Syntimir Bayazitov, the deputy chairman of the State council committee for education, science, culture, sport and youth affairs RB Elvira Unusova, representatives of Ministry of education RB, youth organizations, mass-media and pedagogues were invited to the gathering as the honorable guests.

Welcoming the guests and delegates of the first children’s kurultay Syntimir Bayazitov has marked the importance of this historical event:

“Today our children are discussing the most actual questions and problems our Republic faces and offer their own solutions. It means Bashkortostan is entering a new qualitative way of progress. We are happy that all this is happening in the light of such actions as the Republic Year, the Teacher Year in Russian Federation, the 65th anniversary of the Victory and the III World Bashkir Kurultay”.
