President RB Murtaza Rakhimov held a meeting with the head of “ROSOBORONPROM”

On April 20 the President RB Murtaza Rakhimov has held a work meeting with the General Director of JSC “ROSOBORONPROM” Andre Reus, who arrived in Ufa for participation in the meeting re realization of the strategy of helicopter engineering development in Russia for the period till 2020.

Some proposals on joint work of the Republic and “ROSOBORONPROM” for realization of the helicopter engineering development program were under discussion in the course of the meeting.

It was marked that Bashkortostan and “ROSOBORONPROM” possessed joint positive experience of cooperation in sphere of aviation construction development. The President of Bashkortostan said the Bashkir leadership was ready to discuss the projects, aimed at the rise of competitive ability of Russian helicopter engineering and mentioned the Republican authorities always paid high attention to activity of such local aviation enterprises as “UMPO” and “KUMAPP”.

Some questions for organization of mass production of helicopter engines at JSC “UMPO” were also discussed by the parties.

The Prime-Minister of Government RB Rail Sarbaev and the deputy Russian Minister of defense Vladimir Popovkin were also taking part in the negotiations.
