The program of celebration of the 65th anniversary of the Victory is approved

The program of celebration of the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War was approved today at the meeting of the Government RB, headed by the Prime-Minister of Government RB Rail Sarbaev.
Only 12 thousand veterans of war are left in Bashkortostan for today, including 3,6 thousand invalids of war, 287 thousand former prisoners of the fascist concentration camps, and 250 former Leningrad’s blockade participants. 79398 toilers of the home front will also celebrate the jubilee.
The deputy Prime-Minister of Government RB, Minister of labor and population social protection RB Fidus Yamaltdinov told what was done in Bashkortostan in order to improve the life of the veterans. He has underscored all measures of social support, provided for the federal and the Republican legislations are received by the veterans in full volume.
“332 veterans of war have improved their living conditions within the period from 2005 to 2009 at the expense of the local budgets” – he reported – “Other 502 veterans have received new flats at the expense of the federal exchequer. 1553 veterans still have to be supplied with flats in Bashkortostan and this is one of the prior aims of the state”
Fidus Yamaltdinov told in details about other measures of social support of the veterans: social services at home, stationary and spa medical treatment and supplying of them with medicines.
270 veterans all over Bashkortostan will take part in the jubilee celebrations in Ufa. They’ll arrive in Ufa the day before the holiday, on May 7, and will be located at the best local sanatoriums. On May 9 all of them will take part in the flower ceremony, in the solemn ceremony of opening of the monuments of the prominent Bashkir commanders Kusimov and Muratov and in the festive show in the Congress-Hall on May 8. On May 9 they’ll take part in the solemn parade, devoted to the jubilee. Another group of veterans, accompanied with the medics, will leave for taking part in the celebrations in four Russian cities – Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Kursk and Volgograd.
The deputy Prime-Minister of Government RB, Minister of culture and national politics RB Ildus Ilishev told in details about the cultural programs of the Victory Day.
