Murtaza Rakhimov is taking part in joint meeting of Russian Security Council and Volga federal district Council

The joint meeting of the Russian Security Council and the Council under the Plenipotentiary of the President of Russia in Volga federal district is held in Ulyanovsk today and the President RB Murtaza Rakhimov is taking part in it.

The Ulyanovsk’s aviation enterprise “AVIASTAR-SP” has become the site of the meeting. Participants of the meeting are discussing the aspects of perfection of state policy in sphere of aviation activity on the territory of the Russian regions in the staff of Volga federal district under the chairmanship of the Russian Security Council secretary Nikolai Patrushev. The measures for the increase of the flights safety are also under discussion in Ulyanovsk.

As the Plenipotentiary of the President of Russia in Volga federal district Gregory Rapota mentioned, more than 65% of Russian aviation industry and about 90% of civil aircraft engineering are concentrated in Volga federal district. Many of these aviation enterprises need state support today. Development of interregional air communication also remains urgent for the district because it is no secret the air communication between local regional centers is practically absent.

In opinion of the Russian Security Council secretary Nikolai Patrushev the necessity to work up a special program for development of small aviation has come to a head. By the way, Bashkir authorities pay serious attention to this problem. In the nearest future the airports in the Bashkir towns of Sibay and Neftekamsk will start working again. Two comfortable Czech aircrafts are purchased for the internal Republican airlines.

At the end of the meeting the new model of the passenger aircraft “TU-204CM”, equipped with the Russian engines of a new generation PC-90A2 will be introduced to its participants.

TU-204CM represents a deep modification of the airliner TU-204. The aircraft meets modern international requirements for the security of flights and doesn’t yield to the majority of foreign aircrafts of the same class. Thanks to the newest avionics and modern structural solutions this aircraft is able to stay in the air about nine hours without top-up.
