President RB Murtaza Rakhimov presented awards to the best specialists

The President of Bashkortostan Murtaza Rakhimov presented the state awards of Russian Federation and Republic of Bashkortostan to the best representatives of different specialties today. The list of the recipients includes activists of science and culture, education, health protection, agriculture, industry, building, trade and sport.

“Our Republic stands in the Top 10 of the most progressive Russian regions, which make the main contribution to the prosperity of Russia and its budget” – the President RB said, greeting the comers – “And today we are rewarding the best representatives of those branches of industry, which Bashkortostan may be proud of by right”.

According to M-r Rakhimov the building branch in our Republic and low building especially develops quite well. The matters with agriculture also stand better than in other regions. “It is especially important that we’ve managed to revive the system of MTS (machine and tractor stations), which help our agrarians today” – the President RB mentioned.

At the same time, as M-r Rakhimov said, certain prosperity, observed in some branches of industry today, can’t be the ground for relaxation.

“We have to admit that many branches of our economy have nothing to swagger about today” – the President RB said – “And this is not the fault of the economic crisis but the main trouble is that while we live thanks to the export of crude oil and gas it is senseless talking about any progress. We have to stop selling our natural resources out and to develop new technologies and innovations in industry, health sphere and agriculture. This is the common problem for the country and though it concerns our Republic to a lesser degree, we mustn’t forget about it”.
