Raising the prestige of public service

The work meeting re realization of the concept “The rise of public service openness and people’s confidence in public employees” has taken place in the Presidential Administration RB. This pilot project is realized in Bashkortostan and Samara region in accordance with the joint plan of actions on reforming and development of public service in Volga federal district taking the federal program “Reforming and development of public service in Russian Federation in 2009-2013” into account.

Within the frames of the meeting with the participation of the representatives of Ministry of education RB, Ministry of youth policy, sport and tourism RB and Republican mass-media some aspects of execution of the main pilot project’s actions, aimed at the improvement of the image of public and municipal employees in public opinion were under discussion. It was stated the openness of public service and confidence of citizens in public and municipal employees has the decisive significance for the rise of people’s living standards and more efficient interaction between the state and its citizens.
