The VI Congress of Bashkortostan’s Ukrainians approved the resolution by the totals of the forum’s work

The VI Congress of Ukrainians RB finished working in Ufa. The approval of the final resolution has become the result of its work and the 20-year activity of the Republican national-cultural center “KOBZAR” is admitted positive. On March 2009 the OSCE Supreme Commissar on the national minorities’ rights Kurt Vollebeck has highly estimated the successes of the center during his visit to our Republic.

The delegates of the Congress have expressed their thanks to the President RB and other representatives of the authority, public and scientific circles of Bashkortostan and Ukraine for active support and assistance in solution of the problems on preservation and development of Ukrainian language and culture.

The forum elected the delegates for the V Congress of Ukrainians RF and the V World Ukrainian Congress.
