Ufa is preparing to meet the 65th anniversary of the Victory

Preparations for celebration of the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War are running at full speed in Ufa. At present time, as the deputy head of Ufa administration Syntimir Bayazitov reported at the meeting in Ufa administration, the whole series of festive arrangements, called to involve practically the whole population of the city are pre-planned. On the eve of the anniversary the meetings and ceremonies of flowers imposition will take place in Ufa and children and youth will become as usually the most active participants of these actions. “Our veterans – 27168 people – will be rewarded with the jubilee medals” – Syntimir Bayazitov reported.

On May 8 solemn ceremonies of flowers imposition will be held in the Victory Park, near the monuments of Alexander Matrosov and Minnigali Gubaidullin. Flower will be laid on the grave of the twice Hero of the Soviet Union Musa Gareev. After that the monuments to the Generals Minigali Shaimuratov and Tagir Kusimov will be solemnly opened in the capital RB.

The main celebrities will occur on May 9 on the Lenin’s Square. The military parade is appointed on 12 o’clock here. After that the theatrical performance and the festive concert will begin at 12-40. 600 veterans from Ufa and other 270 veterans from other towns and regions of Bashkortostan will take part in the celebrities. The folk art concert “Victory Salute”, the show of the TV-contest “Ural Gems” and the festive concert of Masters of Arts RB will continue the program. The festive salute will take place on the square at 22 o’clock.
