Ildus Ilishev: “The Republic Year has to be held at high level”

“2010, announced the Republic Year by the decree of President RB Murtaza Rakhimov, will be held under the sign of comprehension of the way, having passed by the region for 20 years since the adoption of the State Sovereignty Declaration RB. This is very important milestone in the history of our Republic so the Republic Year itself and all arrangements, related to it, should be held at the highest level” – the deputy Prime-Minister of Government RB Ildus Ilishev said at the expanded meeting of the collegium of Ministry of culture and national politics RB on Wednesday, February 17, in Ufa Congress-Hall. The meeting was devoted to the work balance of the Ministry in 2009 and the aims-2010. The State Advisor under President RB Sergey Lavrentiev, the chairman of the State Council committee on education, science, culture, sport and youth affairs, Chairman of the Union of Writers RB Ravil Bikbaev, the head of the press, publishing and polygraphy department under Government RB Edward Uldashev and other officials have taken part in it.
Ildus Ilishev called participation of the culture and art departments RB in celebration of the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945 one of the main aims in 2010. Special attention will be paid to the forthcoming III World Bashkir Kurultay (Congress), which is to be held in Ufa on June 2010. This important event will gather great number of guests from different countries and delegates from all regions of Bashkortostan in the capital of the Republic.
In a whole the Vice-Premier mentioned the activists of culture and art face much work ahead on preparation of various actions both in the Republic and beyond to represent the national cultures of Bashkortostan’s nations and their achievements in professional and amateur art at the appropriate level in 2010.
