President RB Murtaza Rakhimov congratulated the employees and veterans of the main teachers’ journal of Bashkortostan “The Teacher of Bashkortostan” with the 90th anniversary:

“Dear friends!

Let me heartily congratulate you with the remarkable event – the 90th anniversary of the oldest teacher’s journal of the Republic – “The Teacher of Bashkortostan”.

The name, content and design of the magazine were several times changed for the last decades. But you preserved the main streamline- rendering of practical assistance to schools and the care of the everyday teacher’s work. The magazine has received the present name in 1936 and was always loyal to its predestination.

Your edition has played an important role in liquidation of illiteracy and in confirmation of the general primary, seven-year and later the secondary education. The problems of Bashkir language development and development of the national schools, introduction of new prints, the first text-books and manuals, spreading of the progressive pedagogical experience were always under discussion on the pages of your journal.

And today, developing its rich traditions the journal remains the efficient site for constructive exchange of views on the most urgent problems in education. High attention is paid to the national project “Education”, modernization of the education system, introduction of innovational methods and technologies to the teaching and educational process. It is good that our teachers themselves, scientists and specialists are your main authors and here the wide popularity of the journal, which circulation exceeded 30 thousand copies for the last years, comes from. It is not accidentally that the editorial staff of the journal possesses many prestigious awards of the Russian press.

I am sure you will further stay on the leading edge of education and science, contributing to the teacher’s corps of Bashkortostan in execution of new and more complicated and responsible aims.
