Ufa’s children’s sport school N1 celebrates house-warming

Solemn opening of a new sport center has taken place in Ufa on Monday, January 25, within the frames of the Republican and the federal goal-oriented programs on development of physical culture and sport in 2006-2015.

President RB Murtaza Rakhimov, Chairman of State Council-Kurultay-RB Constantine Tolkatchev, Minister of youth policy, sport and tourism RB Alexander Nikerin, Minister of building, architecture and transport RB Ravil Ibatullin and Ufa Mayor Paul Kachkaev have taken part in the ceremony.

The new sport center with the total area more than 1300 square meters has become the first sport construction, put into operation in 2010. In a whole nine similar objects have been opened in Bashkortostan in 2009 within the frames of the federal goal-oriented program “Development of physical culture and sport in Russian Federation”.

About 38 million rubles have been invested to construction of the object and in 2010 within the frames of the abovementioned program construction of the second turn of “Ufa-Arena”, the ice ring in Sibay and the ice palace in the city of Sterlitamac are scheduled to be erected in Bashkortostan.
