Sheltered skating ring is opened in Ufa district of Shaksha

The sheltered skating ring “ULAEVETS” was opened in Ufa district of SHAKSHA today. President RB Murtaza Rakhimov, the head of Bashkir President Administration Nikolai Kurapov, the deputy Prime-Minister RB, Minister of culture and national politics RB Ildus Ilishev, Minister of building, architecture and transport RB Ravil Ibatullin, Minister of youth policy, sport and tourism Alexander Nikerin and the head of Ufa administration Paul Kachkaev have taken part in the solemn ceremony. It should be noted that similar skating rings are opened in many towns and regions of Bashkortostan today. The first stone in foundation of the future sport construction was laid on May 30, 2008, with participation of the President of Russian Ice Hockey Federation Vladislaw Tretyak and realization of this project became possible thanks to the Republican goal-oriented program “Development of ice hockey in Republic of Bashkortostan in 2008-2012”, approved in accordance with the corresponding decree of President RB.

The common square of the skating ring is 3500 square meters with the standard hockey ground 30x60m. The sport center is erected specially for the citizens of the northern part of the city and now they can go in for sports all the year round.
