The meeting with Director of the Otolaryngology Center N.A. Daihes

On December 10 President RB Murtaza Rakhimov held a work meeting with the director of the scientific-clinical otolaryngology center under Russian Ministry of health protection and social development Nikolai Daihes in the Republic House. The director of the otolaryngology center arrived in Ufa to become acquainted with work of the scientific-clinical otolaryngology center’s Ufa subdivision. The agreement concerning opening of the division of the center in Ufa was reached at the beginning of 2009. Nikolai Daihes expressed his thanks to President RB for his close assistance on opening of the office and for his attention to the problems of child health protection. He reported 11 operations on cochlear implantation to children with low hearing from Bashkortostan and other Russian regions will be made in the nearest future. The subdivision will take children from Volga and Ural federal districts soon. Specialists of Ufa division were trained in the center in Moscow and the newest medical equipment was purchased for this institution.

Nikolai Daihes marked high level of professional and technical base of Republican medical institutions. He expressed assurance the experience of Bashkortostan in sphere of otolaryngology will be spread all over Russia.

By the corresponding decree the Presidential program “Cochlear implantation in Republic of Bashkortostan in 2008-2010” is launched and successfully put into practice in Bashkortostan and Murtaza Rakhimov considers opening of the high-tech medical centers in the regions first of all the absolutely necessary decision. As the head of the Republic said, Bashkortostan will further support the projects, aimed at protection of child health.
