Murtaza Rakhimov visited Austria and Germany

President RB Murtaza Rakhimov has visited Austria and Germany at the head of the official delegation of our Republic on December 7-9. The staff of Bashkir delegation consisted of Minister of building, architecture and transport RB Ravil Ibatullin and representative RB in Austria Vadim Pletnev.

On December 7 Murtaza Rakhimov has taken part in the 13th session of UNO General Conference on industrial development (UNIDO) in Vienna. Participants of the conference – representatives of 173 states – members of this organization, including the Russian delegation, headed by the deputy Minister of foreign affairs Alexander Yakovenko, were discussing the aspects of international situation under the terms of the financial-economic crisis and measures of financial aid to the developing countries.

After participation in UNIDO conference President RB held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia in Austria Stanislaw Osadchy. The matter of the talk was development of Bashkortostan’s cooperation with Austrian investors and realization of joint projects.

President RB also held negotiations in Vienna with the deputy UNIDO General Director Dmitry Piskunov and the coordinator of UNIDO integrated program in Republic of Bashkortostan Uri Avkhlediani. The questions of usage of energy-efficient and energy-saving technologies in industry and ecology were opened during the negotiations.

On December 8 Murtaza Rakhimov attended the permanent exhibition of prefabricated houses. The exhibition is located in the town of Viener to the south of Vienna and demonstrates the models of prefabricated houses, built up with the usage of energy-saving technologies, widely applied in low building sphere.

Same day President RB visited the site of the company “ELASTOGRAN” in the town of Lemferd, Germany – the leader in technologies of polyurethane systems and special elastomers. The company designs special foam-polyurethane systems for furniture industry. The network of the company includes the headquarters in Germany and nine plants in France, the Great Britain, Italy, Russia, Sweden, Spain, South Africa, Turkey and Hungary. President RB held negotiations with the leadership of the company and the parties discussed the possibilities to use the company’s technologies in the building complex of Bashkortostan, in particular, when erecting low houses.

President of Bashkortostan positively estimates the results of his business trip to Austria and Germany.

“The main goal of our visit was the acquaintance with foreign experience in sphere of building and production of building materials because house building is considered the strategic priority in social and economic policy RB and we have to learn the experience of European countries and actively introduce modern technologies in the building complex of our Republic” – President RB mentioned.
